Sarah Horn

Sarah Horn was born in Los Angeles and resides with her husband in Simi Valley California.

She began her career in accounting as a teen when she went to work for her Father’s business, where she learned bookkeeping, sales tax and payroll.

In 1993 Sarah obtained her license from CTEC (California Tax Education Counsel) to prepare tax returns. In 2002, Sarah passed the two-day, 4 part EA (Enrolled Agent) exam, given by the IRS.

An enrolled agent is a person who has demonstrated special competence in tax matters and who has earned the privilege of practicing, that is, representing taxpayers, before the Internal Revenue Service. Enrolled agents, like attorneys and certified public accountants (CPAs), are unrestricted as to which taxpayers they can represent, what types of tax matters they can handle, and which IRS offices they can practice before.

Sarah’s area of focus is with the individual taxpayer. Sarah prides herself on educating her clients, so that they have a better understanding of their tax matters.
